ABOUT EMILY

Hi, I’m Emily - a Registered Nurse, a Registered and Endorsed Midwife, and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula. With over a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting families on their journey into parenthood through a variety or roles, and feel truly honored to do this work.

My background includes working as a Neonatal Nurse, a Midwife, and an IBCLC, providing care in some of Melbourne’s largest hospitals, as well as in private practice offering holistic, full-spectrum midwifery care, including support for home births. I have extensive experience in assessing and managing oral ties in babies, an area I am particularly passionate about. I’ve also been fortunate enough to contribute to the education of the next generation of healthcare professionals as a Teaching Associate at Monash University, where I assisted the teaching of breastfeeding skills to Masters of Nursing and Midwifery students.

Private Practice is where I feel most fulfilled, as it allows me to provide individualised and holistic support that I believe every mother deserves. I am deeply committed to helping mothers prepare for breastfeeding, address challenges early, and navigate the postpartum period with confidence. I am especially passionate about supporting maternal wellbeing and offering guidance during moments when challenges arise.

It is my heartfelt wish that every mother emerges from pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period feeling empowered, supported, and truly held. How we care for mothers during this transformative time matters deeply, and its impact can last a lifetime.
